Community Fundraising

COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERING
Community volunteering is the lifeblood and local face of the N I Chest
Heart & Stroke. Each year our support groups raise in excess of £215,000 towards the vital work and services we provide throughout Northern Ireland.
Within each of our fundraising areas there are many innovative events and organised activities. The resources of willing and able volunteers are always needed to further our work and there are many ways to help us make a real difference in your local area - below are some of the ways in which you can help.
Joining a Support Group
Why not join one of our 26 support groups throughout the province. They meet monthly and are involved in lots of different events from Gala Dinners and Golf Competitions to Vintage Rally's, Sponsored Walks, fun challenge events and collections.

Are you organising your next birthday or anniversary party soon? Don't want to receive enough flowers and candles to open up your own shop? Then why not consider asking friends and relatives to make a donation in lieu of gift to N I Chest Heart & Stroke? We can provide you with all the materials you require - (including a collection envelope) to do this very simple but effective fundraiser.

- Cheque Collector - Become the local representative in your community, attending events, delivering brief words of thanks and collection of behalf of the Charity.
- By volunteering your time and talents to the charity would be performing a very necessary role within the family of the Chest Heart & Stroke. Your face in your home town would ensure that the profile and work of the charity is highlighted to a greater degree.
