Mazda London Triathlon - 7th - 8th August 2010
The Mazda London Triathlon takes place at London's Excel centre in the Docklands. Each year it attracts around 10,000 participants. The route takes in all the famous sites of London and it is now the biggest triathlon in the UK.
A triathlon event comprises of three different parts - a swim, a cycle and a run. There are three categories that you compete in which consist of different distances:
Swim Bike Run
Super sprint distance - 400m 10km 2.5km
Sprint distance - 750m 20km 5.0km
Olympic distance - 1,500m 40km 1.0km
