Causeway Trek

NICHSA Causeway Challenge

Causeway Trek 2012

Here's your opportunity to spend a beautiful day walking in a picture postcard landscape. Following six very successful years, NI Chest Heart & Stroke will be holding the Causeway Trek once again on Saturday 12th May 2012.

The Causeway Trek can be challenging, so you need to have a good level of fitness as there are steep climbs and an area of shingle and boulders to negotiate at Portbradden beach. You must also ensure that you are prepared for the day's weather conditions and wear appropriate clothes, a proper pair of walking shoes, and sun screen if necessary. Also bring adequate food and drinks for the duration of the walk. Before the event we will send you more detailed information.

In order to take part, all we ask is that you pay a registration fee (£10 for adults £5 for children) and raise as much sponsorship as you can!

Causeway Trek Mini Trail

This is a great family fun walk to entertain all of the kids only £3 per person or £10 per family of four, come along, take part in our testing trail quiz, and discover our curious clues which take you on an extraordinary excursion with stunning along the way.

The Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke marquee will have activities and crafts to entertain all the family as well at the end of the trial.

Sound good? Then why not join Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke, on the Causeway Trail at Larrybane Carpark from 9am to 5pm on the 12th May 2012 to join in some weird and wonderful fun, and at the same time, do something healthy and worthwhile for charity

The money raised by the Causeway walkers will help to fund our support services, health promotion and research in local universities.
