Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke hopes to see an increase in the amount allocated to the Health Service in Northern Ireland.
NI Chest Heart & Stroke made a comprehensive submission to OFMDFM outlining the need for more resources and for a more efficient use of the resources in the Health Service.
It made a plea that any unspent resources from any Government Department should automatically be reallocated to health. It was essential that officials in DHSSPS were prepared to use money for projects which had been thoroughly planned and assessed beforehand.
Andrew Dougal, Chief Executive NI Chest Heart & Stroke will be available for comment on the budget in regard to health.
