We Are Taking Action
Each year in Northern Ireland almost 10,000 people die from Chest, Heart and Stroke illnesses. Scarcely a family in our community has not been affected. The Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke Association is committed to caring for today and finding a cure for tomorrow.

Rehabilitation
Supporting the rehabilitation of clients with stroke, cardiac and chest illnesses with a network of clubs and services throughout the province. Equipment
Providing nebulisers for asthmatic children and adults through our nebuliser loan scheme.
Help Line
Supporting patients and carers of those affected by chest, heart or stroke illness, by providing information and advice. Help Line Number 0845 769 7299 (all calls charged at local rate).
Welfare
Financing Welfare Services and grants for people on low incomes.
Cure for tomorrow
Research
Funding vital research in local hospitals and universities (£250,000 is being invested in the current year).
Health Promotion
Prevention of illness through health promotion, fitness assessments, cholesterol measurement, health seminars and information leaflets.
Speaking out on your behalf in the continuing fight for patients' rights.
